Mick Riches is a wonderful polyester repair specialist and polisher, and is a leading expert in his field. Preparing the cabinets of our second-hand pianos for sale, Mick buffs the casework to bring out its lustrous shine and remove scratches, repairs any polyester damage as necessary and polishes the metal fittings to perfection. Mick was trained by Steinway & Sons' restoration department, and spent 16 years on their staff in London before becoming an independent technician. With his training as a piano restorer there isn't much that Mick doesn't know about piano repairs, from respraying frames to re-stringing, re-pinning and shimming soundboards. He brings an endless wealth of expertise and is hugely valuable to the Chamberlain Pianos team.
