Carefully designed to maximise the tonal quality and response from a small frame, b1 is a perfect choice for a smaller room and equally ideal for a beginner. Delivering the renowned Yamaha sound at an affordable price, the chic and slender b1 is also a great addition to a modern interior. It is worth comparing the b1 against the slightly larger but similarly styled Kawai K-15.

The top of the range b Series model, the b3 also benefits from a solid spruce soundboard, and shares many components with the professional level U Series models. Larger than the b1 and b2 at 121cm tall, the longer strings and more expansive soundboard of the b3 afford it a more powerful and expressive tone, with a more controlled and responsive action.
