Introducing the Roland RP701 digital piano

Building on the success of the outgoing RP501R, the new RP701 shares its specification with the slimline F701 and is a much more grown up instrument.

With traditional piano styling yet remaining smaller than the HP models, RP701 is an ideal choice for those short of space yet not wishing to compromise on quality.

Available in a selection of finishes there is an RP701 for every interior. Benefiting from Bluetooth audio and MIDI connectivity, Roland's renowned PHA-4 action and SuperNATURAL Modelling sound engine, the new RP701 is a very capable instrument, well suited to the progressing musician.

Authentic sound and feel

This digital piano feels instantly familiar, not only capturing the sound of each note in minute detail, but also reflecting your touch and dynamics. The powerful onboard SuperNATURAL sound engine means you’ll hear all the subtle changes in tone and resonance, just as you would on an acoustic instrument. That lifelike tone is matched by the PHA-4 Standard keyboard, whose escapement and ivory-touch white keys feel just right, even down to the distinctive “click” when each one is played. Or when you want to focus on playing without distractions, simply slide the keyboard lid to hide the control panel, connect headphones, and lose yourself in Headphones 3D Ambience that surrounds you with warm, evocative piano sound.

Influenced by the award-winning design of Roland’s high-end LX and HP series, the sophisticated cabinet blends curves and straight lines, with slim front legs that complete the visual statement. Available in four finishes, the RP701 blends into a wide variety of room styles. Try soothing and subtle dark rosewood, or a light oak finish with its fusion of elegant oak grain and fashionable greige accents. Or just keep it classic with the striking white or contemporary black options.

Connect and learn with Bluetooth and USB

Using Bluetooth audio, you can connect to your tablet or smartphone, stream music through the RP701’s speakers or headphones, and then play along with your favorite artists. And with Bluetooth MIDI, it’s simple to explore online teaching platforms like Skoove or try Roland’s Piano Every Day app, which automatically records your performance for self-assessment and challenges you to learn a new piece with the One Week Master program.

Delivery methods

All acoustic pianos purchased from Chamberlain Pianos are delivered by specialist piano removers. Our delivery team have transported pianos all over the world, are fully insured and can get your piano into even the tightest of spaces. Wherever you are located you can be confident that your instrument will arrive safely.

We do our best to fit around your schedules and to meet your delivery requirements, and we keep you informed every step of the way to ensure that piano delivery day is the happy event it should be!

All acoustic pianos are delivered free of charge to UK mainland ground floor locations. More complicated deliveries, including those involving flights of stairs may incur additional charges which would be agreed in advance.

Collections can be made Monday to Friday, 9:00am –5:30pm. You can collect from our showroom where there is ample car-parking available.

Select ‘Click & Collect’ as the delivery method when you reach the checkout page. Your order will be processed quickly, and we will inform you by email when it is ready for collection (usually within 24 hours, subject to stock availability). Please bring a copy of your order confirmation with you when collecting.

If you would like to order from us, but you live outside the United Kingdom, Channel Islands, or Republic of Ireland, please email us at pianos@chamberlainmusic.com with your enquiry and we will do our best to help.

If your basket contains items from more than one of these categories, you will be charged a blended rate (usually equivalent to the highest individual carriage charge). Some extremely large and built-to-order products are shipped direct from the manufacturer and are subject to further surcharges (see individual product pages for more information).

Orders paid before 3pm are normally despatched the same day subject to availability. If you need something in a hurry, we can normally organise next day delivery on products we have in stock. Call us for a quote.

Couriers are contracted to deliver Monday to Friday only, with the exception of our private piano delivery team who deliver on Saturdays where applicable.
