Sitting firmly at the top of the acclaimed Yamaha b series, the b3 represents a significant step up in overall quality from the compact b1 and b2 models. First and foremost, it shares many of its components with the universally renowned and Japanese built Yamaha U1, including its hammers and frame, all while remaining superb value for money. Measuring 121cm tall and in a handsome traditional style cabinet, the b3 is capable of producing a balanced and resonant tone, while longer keysticks than those found in the smaller b1 and b2 models affords it a much more controlled and delicate touch.
Factory fitted with a Yamaha SG2 Silent system, the piano can be played both acoustically and also digitally with headphones, making it completely silent to everyone but the pianist. This makes it a great choice for the home - a piano which can be played without disturbing others, with useful practice tools such as a record facility, and also with features to assist in school music classes such as MIDI and USB connectivity.
