Yamaha B series

There are three models in the b Series as follows:

Yamaha’s entry level range is manufactured in Indonesia in the same factory as the P Series, and consists of three different models, starting with the compact b1. This is Yamaha’s smallest upright piano model at 109cm tall and has modern style cabinetry to give it a compact appearance. This is an excellent choice for the beginner and those with limited space, it produces a surprisingly good sound with a responsive action while remaining excellent value for money.

The 113cm b2 is the first traditional style model in the line-up and thanks to its larger proportions and solid spruce soundboard offers a richer and fuller tone, while remaining neat and compact. Sitting at the top of the b Series is the b3 which shares many components, including its hammers and 121cm frame, with the professional series U1. Playing the two side by side will reveal a discernible difference between the refinement of the two instruments, but there is no denying that the b3 is a very good value alternative to the professional level U1.
