Wittner are well known for the production of metronomes and their traditional style wound models are tremendously popular the world over.
Crafted from solid wood with a precision wound mechanism inside, the front triangle pops off to reveal the pendulum where, via a sliding dial, you can select the desired speed of the metronome. The click is a satisfying, mechanical sound which is much more pleasing than the digital beep of cheaper electronic metronomes.
This model has a variety of speeds - from 40bpm to 208bpm.
Available in a selection of finishes to match your piano, and a brilliant addition to any music room, practice studio or study.
In the year 1895 an enterprising chap called Gustav Wittner founded a precision mechanical factory specifically for the for the production of metronomes. His son, Rudolf Wittner then gradually expanded the business which now occupies a well equipped and state of the art factory in West Germany.
