Introducing the pre-owned Kemble Prestige upright piano c.2002:
Manufactured in the UK at what is now Yamaha's UK piano preparation facility, Kemble pianos were at this time produced under the stewardship of Yamaha, with lots of shared components including the action and frames. Veneers were produced by a British veneering company, while the solid spruce Strunz soundboards came from a town on the German-Austrian border.
A superb blend of British cabinet making, Alpine tonewoods and Japanese precision engineering, Kemble pianos are top quality instruments with a warm, distinctly European tone, and an excellent choice of home piano that is also a beautiful furniture piece.
The 118cm tall Kemble Prestige is a traditional style upright piano, a great domestic size and finished in a fabulous cherry veneer with an inlaid yew veneer panel. This example was produced in c.2002 and is in superb technical and cosmetic order, making it a great choice for the discerning home pianist.
